Origin of Algebra


Algebra is named after All Kharizimi’s book, Al Jabr wa al Muqabilah, which revolutionized mathematics.
 
It gave a new shape and dimension that was different from the Greek concept which was essentially based on geometry.
Algebra was further developed by numerous Muslim scholars and  it widely reached Europe after 300 years.
